Police say they’ve recovered 78 stolen automobiles and arrested 4 individuals suspected of being a part of an auto theft group that allegedly focused vehicles within the Larger Toronto Space.
Peel Regional Police say officers executed seven search warrants and recovered the stolen automobiles, which they are saying have been collectively price about $10 million, in December.
They are saying a three-month investigation has resulted within the arrests of the 4 suspects, who vary in age between 29 and 48.
The accused are dealing with a complete of 34 costs together with theft, fraud and possession of property obtained by crime.
Police say the group focused particular automobiles at a number of places, together with Toronto’s Pearson Worldwide Airport, underground parking garages and residential neighbourhoods.
The stolen automobiles have been loaded on containers and brought by truck or practice to the Port of Montreal to be exported abroad.
